8/10 Title “Intention: What’s the right order?”
Scripture: 8/10 Proverbs 4:7

• King James Version: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
• NVI: Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

We are exploring intention again—but this time, through the lens of order. It is easy to get caught up in chasing after things we think matter most: success, security, approval. But Scripture brings us back to the basics. Proverbs 4:7 says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

So what comes first? What should we really be aiming for, and in what order? This morning, let’s dig into what it means to set our intentions in the right sequence—not just piling on goals, but making sure we’re starting with wisdom, and letting everything else fall into place. A
