Founding Minister Emeritus: Florence Ernzen
Friends of Unity was founded in 2010 by a group of like-minded seekers under the leadership of Florence "Flossie" Ernzen, ordained Inter-faith – Inter-spiritual minister, long time Licensed Unity Teacher, and Professional Social Worker.
Dedicated to Sacred Service, Rev. Flossie grounded our spiritual community with wise and loving guidance until her retirement in 2017. We are so grateful to continue to be blessed by her in the role of Minister Emeritus.
Music Coordinator: Joe Barden
Joe is a lifelong lover of music, with training in both classical and jazz piano as well as significant experience in liturgical music. He spends his days working as a researcher and laboratory manager at the University of Michigan, studying epilepsy in the Department of Neurology. He is truly grateful to have been called to share his musical talents with the FoU community.
