It’s almost time for our annual October Planning Meeting! Every year, the WOW members surprise us with the creative, inspiring, and inviting topics brought to the table. Now it’s time to start dreaming up what we’ll dive into for the upcoming year.

When you picture a WOW meeting—one you’d be genuinely thrilled to lead—what topic are you dying to share with us?
To get your gears turning, here are a few broad areas to spark ideas:


Spiritual growth and inner peace
Health, wellness, and aging well
Creativity and the arts
Friendship, relationships, and community
Travel, culture, and adventure
Purpose, service, and giving back
Personal growth and self-discovery
Practical life wisdom
Books, ideas, and lifelong learning
Family stories, ancestry, and legacy
Nature and the environment
Grief, resilience, and healing
Technology and navigating a changing world


Present Your Way!
Remember, you don’t have to stand at the front of the room with a slide deck (unless you want to!). Choose a facilitation style that feels comfortable for you and fits your topic:


Storytelling
A facilitated panel
A facilitated group conversation
An interview of selected members
Facilitated partner conversations
A demonstration, activity, or discussion
Creative demonstration followed by time to just create
Full presentation shared by one or two WOW members

The meeting will be Saturday, October 11th at 9:30 a.m. at PCAC
We will be deciding on programs for the coming year.
This year we will be voting on nine programs (no program in July or December).
Looking forward to a fun, lively planning meeting filled with exciting ideas!

WOW is a forum for women to share, grow and support one another spiritually through experiential, fun activities.
Women of Wisdom share with one another their talents, interests, and tools for personal and spiritual growth.
WOW welcomes women of all ages, faiths, and cultures, both members and non-members of Friends of Unity.
Women of Wisdom desire to grow friendships and build relationships by creating a safe and comfortable space.
WOW programs emphasize life experience and insights that are discovered in each of our personal journeys.
Each program stands alone, is led by volunteers, and is supported by love offerings (and fees for materials as necessary).
